We have a great team of tradespeople and support staff who bring a vast range of experience to their roles. Our relationships have been built up over decades, so we know we can rely on each and every person to deliver a quality result for our clients.
Matthew Tennent
/ Director
Matthew formed Vigor Homes in 2006. With his entrepreneurial nature and personable character, Matthew grew Vigor Homes from a residential carpentry organisation into a multi-million-dollar business. Driven by a passion for creating great spaces that complement people’s lives, Matthew loves the diversity and challenges that come with delivering complex construction projects. Outside of work, Matthew’s a big soccer fan — both as a player and spectator — but most tend to think he should stick to the latter.
Jamie Brockman
/ General Manager
Jamie joined one of Australia’s leading construction companies in 2012 before rapidly rising to roles of manager, construction manager, and director. As a qualified carpenter and registered builder, Jamie has set the standard on quality and been instrumental in numerous high end architectural projects throughout the last decade. In that time he has earned a reputation as a dedicated professional who leads by example and a dependable problem solver with extensive expertise across all trades. When he’s not leading construction efforts, you’ll find him leading a perfect putt on the golf course.
Nick Black
/ Construction Manager
Nick is responsible for the overall project delivery on every Vigor build. Our main man on site, he covers the big picture — from liaising with architects and councils to setting project timelines and budgets. With over 20 years in the industry and a long stint as director of a residential construction company, he’s developed a love for the attention to detail that architectural construction demands. When he’s not on the phone chasing important paperwork, he’s chasing his passion for classic cars.
Nick Creese
/ Site Manager
As site manager, Nick’s all over the day-to-day operations on site. He’s right into the detail, keeping the construction team in order and making sure project components go in at the right time and to the right standard. He’s passionate about building to the Vigor ethos, particularly when it comes to sustainability and the environment. When he’s not on site, you’ll probably find him down the coast, surfboard in tow.
